Michael W. McGhee, PE
President
Mr. McGhee, a registered engineer since 1984, is the founder and President of McGhee Engineering, Inc. He has over two decades of experience in the design and management of site development, highway, airport, water, wastewater, and drainage projects, as well as a number of engineering reports and analysis projects throughout the southeastern United States. In addition to holding a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky, Mr. McGhee also holds a Master of Business Administration degree with specialization in finance from the University of Houston. This unique combination allows him not only to guide you in technical matters, but also to assist his clients in arranging and administering the often-complicated financing of major public works projects. He has a successful track record in managing projects from initial idea to a final, working product.
Eric T. Harris, PE, LSIT
Design Engineer/Associate
Mr. Harris has been with McGhee Engineering Inc. since 1999, and he's a registered Kentucky Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor-in-Training. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and he is a native of Todd County, Kentucky. Before arriving at McGhee Engineering, Inc., Mr. Harris' area of experience includes extensive field surveying, resident inspection, design, and computer-aided drafting for water facilities, sanitary sewage facilities, and site development projects. During Mr. Harris's employment, he has gained extensive experience in the preparation of site and drainage plans for a variety of public and private clients.
Christopher W. Wilcutt, PE
Design Engineer/Associate
Mr. Wilcutt has been with McGhee Engineering, Inc. since 1996, and he is also a registered engineer. He is a native of Russellville, Kentucky and a 1995 graduate of both Georgetown College and the University of Kentucky, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Mr. Wilcutt has worked on several types of projects during his employment with the firm. He has served as a design engineer for water distribution and storage systems, sanitary sewage collection systems, natural gas systems, aviation projects, and site development projects. Mr. Wilcutt has experience in construction inspection and management, and in administration of projects funded by Rural Development, the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority, EPA, and other public agencies.
