Water System Extension Project

The Todd County Water District received separate, sealed Bids for the construction of their Clifty Tank & System Extension: Contract No. 1 – Line Extensions & Contract No. 2 – Tank Addition until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 23, 2005 at the District’s office located at 617 West Main Street, Elkton, Kentucky, 42220, at which time they were publicly opened and read aloud.

Contract No. 1 involves the construction of nearly 24 miles of varying sized water lines in various areas of Todd County plus a booster pumping station. Contract No. 2 involves the construction of a 250,000 gallon elevated water storage tank in the Clifty community.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, which is McGhee Engineering, Inc., at P.O. Box 267, 202 South Ewing Street, Guthrie, Kentucky 42234 or by calling (270) 483-9985. A $75.00 non-refundable charge will be required for each contract set of Bidding Documents (each set includes specifications and 22-inch by 34-inch drawings). Shipping and handling fees are included. Overnight mailing of Bidding Documents will not be provided. Bids will be considered only from contractors holding approved bid forms.
